The International Member of the Taxpayer Advocacy Panel (TAP), Rebecca Lammers, conducted two outreach events in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia last December.

An engaged crowd of international taxpayers attended both of the events and asked questions about the type of work and various projects TAP members take on, received information about TAP, and were informed of their Taxpayer Rights. Feedback was also solicited from the attendees about ways to improve IRS customer service. Lammers also explained how the attendees can submit comments on improveirs.org to recommend changes to the IRS or alert TAP about taxpayer issues that need to be addressed.
