The Taxpayer Advocacy Panel (TAP) is dedicated to helping improve IRS customer service for all taxpayers. Each TAP committee holds monthly teleconference meetings on various IRS issues impacting you and other taxpayers. TAP wants to hear your suggestions for bettering IRS processes and customer service.

Share your input and help improve the IRS by attending the Taxpayer Advocacy Panel’s open teleconference meetings.

The meetings are open to the public and announced in advance in the Federal Register. Since TAP members serve as listening posts, gathering input from taxpayers on IRS issues, public attendance at TAP meetings is welcome. No matter your background, the TAP wants to hear from you – no tax experience necessary.

A schedule of upcoming TAP meetings is provided below. Please call the contact person shown for a specific meeting if you have questions about or would like to dial in to a teleconference or attend a face-to-face TAP meeting.
