The Taxpayer Advocacy Panel (TAP) proudly welcomes 17 new volunteers who are stepping into full membership roles after serving as alternate members. TAP is proud to recognize their commitment and welcome them as they begin this next chapter of service.
Each volunteer brings valuable experience, unique perspectives, and a genuine desire to make a difference. As members of one of TAP’s six project committees, they will work alongside fellow volunteers to review taxpayer concerns, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop practical recommendations that help improve IRS services and the taxpayer experience.
Volunteer service is at the heart of TAP. By contributing their time, knowledge, and real-world perspectives, these members ensure taxpayer voices remain an important part of improving federal tax administration. Their work helps identify issues, recommend practical solutions, and strengthen the connection between taxpayers and the IRS.
