RECOMMENDATION 01025-003
RECOMMENDATION TEXT:
Recommend the IRS display the name control on the congratulations/confirmation page application process.
IRS Action: Adopted
A CP575 assignment notice is generated when an EIN is successfully assigned. Since the name control is an element that is populated in the online CP575 notice pdf, it seems reasonable that we could implement programming to populate the name control on the EIN assignment successful summary page. Per IT, a possible implementation date of this programming change would be January 2, 2026, contingent upon budgetary constraints, resources, and competing priorities.
