The Taxpayer Advocacy Panel (TAP) is dedicated to helping improve IRS customer service for all taxpayers. Each TAP committee holds monthly virtual meetings on various IRS issues impacting you and other taxpayers. TAP wants to hear your suggestions for bettering IRS processes and customer service. TAP members serve as listening posts, gathering input from taxpayers on IRS issues, public attendance at TAP meetings is welcome. No matter your background, the TAP wants to hear from you – no tax experience necessary.
