The IRS is having a hearing on proposed regulations regarding digital asset transactions November 13, 2023.
Given the large amount of interest in the issue, the IRS wanted to give as much advance public notice of the change in advance of the Federal Register notice. In addition, the hearing will be conducted telephonically, rather than at the IRS headquarters building in Washington.
