The Taxpayer Advocacy Panel (TAP) would like to thank all those who submitted an application to serve as a TAP volunteer. This year's application period closed on April 30, 2008 and we received almost 600 applications for panel membership. We have begun the applicant screening process and will post an update on the status of this process to this website by June 30, 2008. Thanks to all of you who have volunteered to serve your country and help improve America's tax administration system by applying for TAP membership.
