Spanish Correspondence Availability

Issue Statement:

Taxpayers in the United States do not have the option to receive correspondence in Spanish.

Goal Statement:

Facilitate taxpayers’ effective communication with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for taxpayers whose primary language is Spanish.

Proposal:

Limited English Taxpayers should have the option of receiving and sending written communication in Spanish.
