New and Revised Tax Forms & Publications

Statement of Issue:

Over the past three years, TAP has received more than one hundred suggestions for improving IRS forms, instructions and publications.

Proposal:

TAP recommended that Tax Forms and Publications seek TAP pre-decisional input whenever new forms and publications are to be developed or current forms and publications revised. TAP has elevated numerous grassroots recommendations concerning forms and publications to the IRS and has worked directly with IRS program owners to improve many of the IRS’s forms and publications.
