The Committee was asked
for feedback on two online computer applications demonstrated
at a face-to-face meeting: the EITC Eligibility Calculator,
an interactive application to determine EITC eligibility,
and the EITC CERT, a tool for participants in the qualifying
child test to determine the status of their claim
Proposal:
Committee members made suggestions
for improvements at the meeting and subsequently via
email.
Response Notes:
The Director of EITC Systems Operations
gave a detailed account of the status of individual member’s
oral and emailed comments, many of which were incorporated,
and the EITC Director reported that member comments will
continue to be considered as the EITC program enhances
these applications.
