The Face-to-Face Service Methods Project Committee advocates on behalf of taxpayers by working to improve the accessibility of face-to-face time with the IRS. More than 30 percent of taxpayers do not live within a 30 minute drive of any Taxpayer Assistance Center. As a result, tens of millions of taxpayers cannot easily obtain face-to-face service from the IRS.
